I was up front, I think row three or something lol. been in a moshpit or whatever it's called, 6 times! Got bruises to show for it and a ****ing tan for waiting over 7 hours. But it was worth it!
They played MoP album, god Sanitarium was awesome. All the songs they did was awesome in fact. At the end of the MoP songs James said: God Bless Cliff Burton.
His face appeared on a huge screen. That gave me goosebumps. My little brother caught 2 picks! and i got them both yay! One of Kirk and one of Rob's. My brother actually caught three but one girl aw-ed at him and he gave it to her, bless.
The guys looked great, they were in great shape and looked like they were having the best ****ing time ever. **** I dont know what else to tell ya... it was just awesome. I loved 'die die die my darling' as they did that too. They ended with Seek & destroy but by that time I needed to go to the tolet so bad (held up for 5 hours!) that I needed to leave lol. But standing up front was so worth it. So good... wow. Metallica... definitely worth every ache every moshpit...
Funny part was: James said: Hey.. Crowd followed; Hey. He went on with Hey, Ho, Oeh, Ieh etc. Crowd copying him. Then he said: Stop it.
Crowd: stop it.
James: Stop copying me!
Crowd: Stop copying me!
James: I mean it
Crowd: I mean it
James; I'm serious!
Crowd: I'm serious!
haha.
About the support acts. The music was too loud and the vocals way to low on all the bands. I think 3 support acts is definitely stretching it. There's no need!
